NBC NEWS: Top CEOs donate to Romney over Obama by 4-1 margin
See this story by Michael O’Brien and Katherine Faulders, NBC News, which reports that by a 4-1 margin, top CEOs of America’s largest companies are personally donating to Mitt Romney. I point this out because even though their company PACs may be splitting money between the two candidates, the CEO’s are not pragmatic donors, they are ideological donors. http://nbcnews.to/MWbE9Q.
This is more evidence that the top CEO’s of America’s 500 largest public and private companies are conservative. Their PACs split donations because they know the race is even, but the CEO’s donate to Mitt because they share his conservative outlook.

This is very good news for Mitt Romney.
I would think that this year the CEO’s giving to Romney are probably motivated by concern over the Obama Taxamageddon if he is re-elected and what this would mean for their business. This isn’t likely about conservative ideology but rather is simply based upon common sense business considerations. It should be noted that liberal CEO’s of corporations, those who gave large sums to Obama in 08 are also not generally supporting him financially this year not because they have suddenly become conservative but because they also have common sense.
